About Lesson

Try this all month.

1-Recognize how those thoughts begin. For me, they’re typically with phrases like, “I can’t believe she ______________” or “He just needs to _____________” or “Why would she _____________?” Whatever they sound like for you, pay attention. When those thoughts start to form in your heart/mind, see them for what they are.

2-Then replace them with something else. It might be, “I don’t know what she is going through. I hope she is OK.” Plan one phrase ahead of time so that when those thoughts start to slip in, you can push them out with your go-to canned thought. Pick one that you can think or say wholeheartedly.

3- Mean it. Hope the best for others. Why not?
