Ali McJoy’s Back-to-School Planner Giveaway

I love a good planner!  (Yes, I accept that this makes me incredibly nerdy…I’m cool with that.  If you hadn’t figured that out about me yet, it was only a matter of time.)

I appreciate technology and put plenty of alarms and reminders in my phone, but I still use a paper planner for meal planning, daily planning, weekly to-do lists, recording memories and kids’ milestones, as a mini-gratitude journal, and to break a project down into smaller, more doable pieces.  I have tried lots of different planners through the years, and for the third year in a row, this is my favorite planner.

It allows me to do all the things I listed above, while it makes me smile every time I pick it up, or even glance at it.

I’m not super inspired by the original cover design, so I always glue a beautiful, inspiring card into the middle.  I usually keep my planner at home in my little office, but anytime I take it somewhere, people always ask about it.

So, since we’re friends, I want to share this wonderful planner with you.

This planner is based on an academic year instead of a calendar year, so every June I start looking for my next planner at Target (they cost less there if you can find one).  The first year I bought one, my local Target had plenty and I fell in love—in fact, I bought more and shared them with friends.  Last year when I went to buy my next year’s planner, the display was empty!  I had to order it online, so of course I ordered extra online and shared them with friends as well.  This year, I found one damaged planner in my local Target and I found a kind-hearted Target employee who actually looked in the back for me and found another one!  I was psyched!  Then while we were traveling in South Carolina, I went looking for an extra—so I could share it with YOU!  This year I want to share my favorite planner with you, friend!  If you’d like a chance to win a planner and your choice of one of the different cards shown below already glued to it, enter the giveaway below.

If you don’t win, don’t despair!  You, too, can have the BEST planner I have yet to use.  Here’s how:

1-Order your planner and some cute cards online.

2- Cut out the card that you want and lay it down to make sure you like the way it looks on your planner—will it make you smile every time you look at it?

3-Glue it to the center of your planner with your adhesive of choice.  (Note: I tried Mod-Podge the first year I did this and I didn’t like the effect.  I didn’t want to cover the whole card because of the pretty gold foil, but by the end of the year, the edges of the card looked a bit dingy where the Mod-Podge was.  The second year, I just used a glue stick and it worked great.  This year, I used a tape runner.)

4-Enjoy!  You can also glue additional resources inside of this planner, to make it even more useful.

(If you’re wondering, these are printables from Clean Mama–love her!)
